BONHAM, TX - More than a hundred new jobs are headed to Bonham, along with several million dollars in expected revenue.
The city council approved the plans for Bonham's first hotel Monday. They said the hotel and shopping center will be built along Highway 121, east of Braum's by the high school.
Investors said they believe the project will generate $3.5 million in revenue every year for the city while creating over 130 jobs. The project is estimated to cost $9 million to $10 million.
