MADILL, OK - Madill school officials are asking voters to approve a proposed $22.9 million school bond next August.

Superintendent Jon Tuck said they money would be used for an Agriculture Technology and Career Technology facility and a new gymnasium with a safe shelter room.

The money would also be used to relocate the softball field and put six safe shelter rooms in all four school facilities.

Madill voters declined a proposed $16 million school bond for a new activity center in February.

A special election for the new bond issue will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28.
