"No foul play" in death of pregnant women in Garvin County Jail

GARVIN COUNTY - We now know the official cause of death of a pregnant mother who died inside the Garvin County Jail.

According to the State Medical examiner 3- year old Jamie Fisher died of a ruptured ectopic pregnancy and the manner of her death was natural.

The medical examiner found there was "no foul play" involved.

Friends say Fisher went to the Pauls Valley General Hospital on January 3rd complaining of severe abdominal pains.

Nurses said Jamie was not cooperating so they called an officer to assist.

After finding pills on her that did not belong to her she was arrested and taken to jail.

Just hours after arriving to the jail Fisher died.
