GARVIN CO., OK -- The Garvin County Sheriff's Office received a vehicle from the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics to help with the county's investigations.

OBN Director Darrell Weaver presented Sheriff Larry Rhodes the keys to a vehicle that they plan on using for covert investigations.

OBN and the Sheriff's Office have partnered up to conduct several drug busts, the most recent being a meth ring in Lindsay.

Weaver says they were eager to give back and present them with a vehicle that will benefit the local law enforcement and community.

Director Weaver said, "Sheriff Rhodes who is a great friend and great partner with us in the drug issues down here in Garvin County had a need so we had the ability to fulfill that need. So we're real pleased to be down here and present that vehicle to them."

Weaver says OBN has given over 40 vehicles to local law enforcement in the last 6 years.
