ODOT informs drivers of major projects for holiday weekend

OKLAHOMA -- The following construction projects are weather permitting, and will impact travel on major highways over the Memorial Day holiday. For turnpike information call the Turnpike Authority at 405-425-3600 or pikepass.com.


US-69 narrowed north of Eufaula, McIntosh Co.
US-69 is narrowed to one lane in each direction between SH-150 north of Eufaula and three miles south of SH-9 in Eufaula.

I-35 narrowed, SH-15 closed in Perry, Noble Co.
North and southbound I-35 is narrowed to one lane between US-77 and north of US-64 and east and westbound SH-15 is closed between I-35 and US-77 in Perry.

SH-33 narrowed in Guthrie, Logan Co.
Expect various lane closures on east and westbound SH-33 between SH-74 and US-77 in Guthrie.

SH-102 closed near Bethel Acres, Pottawatomie Co.
North and southbound SH-102 is closed 4 miles south of I-40 due to damage from a tornado.

US-60/US-59 interchange narrowed near Afton, Ottawa Co.
US-60 and US-59 are narrowed to one lane at the interchange north of Afton..

SH-10 narrowed north of Grove, Delaware Co.
SH-10 is narrowed to one lane each direction over Elk River north of Grove.

Motorists please avoid I-35 through Moore, ramps closed
Emergency and clean-up crews are requesting motorists continue to avoid I-35 in Moore. Heavy traffic in the area has been greatly hindering clean-up operations at times. The southbound I-35 off-ramp to S. 19th St. and the southbound off-ramp to S. 4th St. remain closed. One of the biggest things the general public can do to help is to avoid I-35 in this area and find an alternate route.

I-35 narrowed south of Norman
North and southbound I-35 are narrowed to two lanes at the South Canadian River bridge, south of SH-9 East in Norman. Motorists are advised to expect congestion and use US-77 as an alternate route.

All I-35 ramps at Main St. in Norman closed through mid-2014
All ramps at the I-35/Main St. interchange in Norman. Drivers are encouraged to exit I-35 at Robinson St. when coming from the north or at Lindsey St. from the south or avoid the area if possible. Drivers should be alert to reduced speed limits, heed warning signs and watch for crews in the area. Various lanes will be closed during this project.

I-44 is narrowed to two lanes each direction between Peoria Ave. and Harvard Ave.
