Oklahoma Election Board certifies results of June 26 primary

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The Oklahoma Election Board has certified the results of the June 26 primary election for federal and state offices.

The board certified the results Tuesday, one week after voters went to the polls. Election Board Secretary Paul Ziriax says none of the elections were contested and no recounts were requested.

Ziriax says delays in reporting election results on the board's website on election night were caused by a software glitch that slowed reporting but didn't affect vote tabulations. Ziriax says voting results in future elections will be handled by the Election Board's staff.

Ziriax also outlined a report on a special April 3 election for Tulsa's House District 71 seat that was invalidated due to human error. Ziriax says in two precincts, a voter was inadvertently allowed to vote twice.
