PUSHMATAHA COUNTY, OK -- The Pushmataha County Sheriff's Office says just after 10 o'clock Monday night they captured one of two escapees.
Sheriff Terry Duncan says Michael Avery is now back behind bars.
He says Avery was caught in Choctaw County on Highway 271 just a mile north of Highway 70, but Clayton Scraper is still on the run.
Duncan says the men escaped Sunday night after overpowering a guard.
U.S. Marshals, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Choctaw County Sheriff's Office and Bryan County Sheriff's Office have been assisting in the search.
Duncan says Scraper is considered dangerous. If you see him call authorities.
