WHITEWRIGHT, TX -- One person is dead after the bike they were riding crashed near Whitewright.
Police tell us the motorcyclist was headed north on FM 697, West of Highway 69.
The biker lost control, went off the road and hit a tree and a sign, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Whitewright, Bells, Tom Bean, and DPS were all on the scene.
The rider's name is not being released until their family is notified.
