GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- The Grayson County Sheriff's Office and Texas Rangers are investigating what caused one man's death in the Locust area.

According to Sergeant David Russell, law enforcement arrived on scene around 6:30 P.M. at a residence on Lazy Ike Lane after shots were reportedly fired.

Russell says when they got on scene they found one 35-year-old white male deceased.

Russell says another man, a 31-year-old white male, fled the scene on foot.

A manhunt ensued for approximately four hours before officials apprehended the male on Guilloud Circle in Pottsboro.

Officials are still investigating how and why one man died.

"The body has been sent off for an autopsy to determine the manner of death and the investigation will just continue," Russell said.

No names have been released yet.

The suspect has been booked into the Grayson County Jail.
