PARIS, TX-- The Paris Economic Development Corporation has received their final report of their forensic investigation, and is now moving forward.
PEDC Chair Stephen Grubbs tells us, he received the report and is now trying to distribute it as quickly as possible. Tuesday night, the PEDC board unanimously approved to have a joint meeting with the Paris City Council in a public forum.
They also plan to invite lead investigator Danny Defenbaugh and PEDC attorney, Jeffrey Moore, to answer any questions about the investigation.
"We just want to pack it up and put it behind us," said PEDC Chair Stephen Grubbs. "If we have to make changes in our operations then we will make those changes, but we want to get back to the business of recruiting business and industry and growing business and industry in our community."
A date for that joint meeting has not been set.
