ARDMORE, OK -- The parents of a one-month-old girl, who died in Ardmore, appeared in court for a preliminary hearing Tuesday morning.
Christopher and Angela Randolph are charged with second degree murder and are being held in the Carter County Jail each on a $100,000 dollar bond.
Both their hearings have been continued, Angela will next appear in court on November 19th and Christopher will appear October 15th.
Ardmore Police said they arrested the couple.
After learning they drove from Ohio to Carter County in a car with no air conditioning and with only one window that would roll down.
Authorities believe excessive heat inside the car was a factor in the newborn's death.
If convicted they face 10 years to life in prison.
