Paris City Attorney to be re-evaluated in 90 days

PARIS, TX-- The Paris City Council met behind closed doors Monday night to evaluate several city officials, including the city attorney.

After more than an hour in executive session, the city council issued corrective measures that they would like to see City Attorney Kent McIlyar take.

Last month councilman Dr. Hashmi voted to terminate the city attorney due to a lack of performance, but that motion ultimately failed.

The city says they plan to re-evaluate the city attorney in 90 days.

Also on Monday's agenda, the city manager and municipal court judge were evaluated in executive session.
