PARIS, TX - Paris police are investigating a possible inappropriate relationship between a Paris schools employee and a student.
Authorities say a third party came forward, claiming that a teacher's aide with the Paris ISD had sexual relations with a student.
We reached out to Paris ISD assistant superintendent Robert High who says the employee under investigation has been fired.
"The district received a complaint alleging an improper relationship between an employee and a student." said High. "We immediately turned it over to the police department and we are cooperating with the police department as they go through their investigation."
Police are still conducting interviews and no names have been released.
