PARIS, TX-- Officials are investigating an early morning house fire in Paris.

Fire Marshal Dale Maberry says, just after midnight they got a call of a home on fire in the 1300 block of East Sherman Street.

Firefighters were able to quickly contain the blaze, but remained on scene for about two hours. Maberry says about 25% of the home was damaged, mainly in the kitchen and hallways, but the home is repairable.

No one was at home when the fire broke out. They're still investigating what caused it.
