PARIS, TEXAS - A single vehicle crash outside of Paris kills one and leaves another injured.
According to Texas DPS, Tuesday night 17-year-old Taylor Howard and 16-year-old Megan Weissenmayer were traveling south on FM 1500 when an unknown vehicle veered into the south bound lane.
Howard attempted to avoid a collision causing her to go off the roadway and slam into a tree.
The North Lamar High School students were airlifted to Parkland Hospital in Dallas with injuries.
The hospital pronounced Weissenmayer dead Wednesday afternoon from injuries she sustained in the accident, Howard is in stable condition.
