PARIS, TX-- A single vehicle accident in Mississippi Sunday afternoon killed a Paris woman.
Police in Pearl, Mississippi say 22-year old Britney Stevens, of Paris, was headed north on Highway 49 around 3 P.M. when she tried to change lanes and spun out of control, crashing into an interstate sign.
The coroner says Stevens died on impact.
Police say it was raining at the time of the accident, and they're investigating if the weather was a factor in the crash.
Stevens was a recent graduate of Texas A&M Commerce.
