PARIS, TX - Patrons of a 24-hour Paris restaurant watched a man walk in, grab the cash register, and flee early Friday morning. Then some of them took off after him.

Paris Police say it happened around 2 a.m. Friday when a group of patrons and employees of McKee's Restaurant on North Collegiate Drive chased 33-year-old Dustin Morgan of Clarksville to a nearby neighborhood where he assaulted one of the workers before he got away.

The group saw the red Chevy Blazer that Morgan got into and told police, who caught and arrested him for felony theft a short time later in the 1800 block of FM 195.
