Passport fair Saturday

SHERMAN, TX -- If you're looking to get a passport, Saturday is the day to do it.

As part of Passport Day in the USA, applications will be accepted at the Justice Center on 200 South Crockett Street in Sherman. Organizers say this is a good opportunity for those who can't make it during the work week.

The passport fair will be held tomorrow from 10 a.m .to 3 p.m. Be prepared to pay fees ranging from $105 to $135.

"They need to have their drivers license or photo identification, their birth certificate and two forms of payment. One payment stays here in Grayson County and the other payment would be sent off to the state agency. So, if they could bring two checks or a money order or anything like that, that works really great," district clerk Kelly Ashmore said.
