Plainview Elementary recognized as Model School 9th year in a row
ARDMORE, OK--One Carter County school was honored for excellence today. Plainview Elementary School has been honored as a model school for using the Great Expectation teaching method.

ARDMORE, OK--One Carter County school was honored for excellence today. Plainview Elementary School has been honored as a model school for using the Great Expectation teaching method.

The method is based on a technique of positive reinforcement. Administrators said student test scores have been up while discipline problems have been down.

A number of Oklahoma Lawmakers showed up for Friday morning's student ceremony. Each student received a personalized model student certificate. This is the 9th year in a row that Plainview Elementary has be recognized as a model school.
