DENISON, TX -- Denison police confiscated 140 marijuana plants and arrested a man for possession of the drug.

Police officers performed a search Wednesday at the home of 53-year-old Roger Dean Reynolds on the 600 block of West Gandy Street.

That's where they found the marijuana plants along with growing tools.

Reynolds could be charged with a felony for having over 5 pounds of marijuana and if so, could face up to 20 years in jail.

According to Lt. Mike Eppler said, "The street value was approximately 50 thousand dollars on the marijuana and right at this point we don't anticipate anymore arrests."

Reynolds' bond is set at $10,000 dollars.
