SHERMAN, TX - Police are investigating a bank robbery Monday afternoon inside a Sherman grocery store.
It happened just before 5 p.m. at the Woodforest National Bank inside the Kroger at Loy Lake Rd. and Taylor St.
Police say a black man entered the store and demanded money at the bank location inside the store. He told the clerk he had a weapon, but the clerk told police they did not see a weapon. The clerk gave the man an undisclosed amount of money and left.
Witnesses describe the suspect as a black man, about 6 feet tall, and heavy set, around 30-40 years old.
