Troopers say alcohol a factor in Saturday morning crash

(MCCURTAIN COUNTY, OKLAHOMA) -- OHP says alcohol was a factor in McCurtain County crash that sent four people to the hospital Saturday morning.

Troopers say 18-year-old Jordan James was driving on U.S 70 when he swerved into oncoming traffic. It happened near Seed Tick Crossing Road.

Authorities say 75-year-old Heather Copeland of Durant swerved to avoid a collision, investigators say the vehicles nearly hit head on. Copeland and her passenger James Flyum were air lifted to a Plano Hospital. They're listed in stable condition. James and his passenger were treated and released from a local hospital.
