Police and child advocates upping their efforts to protect children

GRAYSON COUNTY, TEXAS -- The Grayson County Children's Advocacy Center and area police are upping their efforts to protect children from abuse.

They signed an agreement today updating protocol for responding to and treating abused kids.

The CAC is also raising money to expand their facility. Right now, they've raised about $260,000. Their goal is $425,000.

Advocates say their goal is to serve every family and child to the best of their ability.

Advocates also say that if you ever think you see signs of child abuse, report it to authorities. They say you don't need evidence to report something, just concern.
