Police searching for Denison bank robber

DENISON, TEXAS -- Denison police are searching for a man who robbed the Chase bank drive-through this afternoon.

According to Denison police, a man walked up to one of the teller booths at the Chase bank building around noon. He threatened the teller and demanded cash.

"The suspect did indicate that he had some type of weapon, possibly a firearm, but right at this point it's unknown," said lieutenant Michael Eppler.

Fortunately, no one was hurt.

"The clerk gave an undisclosed amount of money, and the guy left on foot westbound," said lieutenant Eppler.

The robber is described as a white man, about 5'5" to 5'9", In his late 20's to early 30's. He has dark hair with a full, trimmed beard, and he was wearing a maroon jacket and jeans
