POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY, OK -- A former ECU student accused of murdering another classmate, was in court Friday.
Jerrod Murray's preliminary hearing was held in Pottawatomie County, where prosecutors presented evidence for the case to proceed to trial.
Murray has pleaded not guilty. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty. Murray will be formally arraigned June 12th.
He's charged with first-degree murder in the December 5th shooting death of 18-year-old Generro Sanchez.
Murray is being held without bond.
