Project to accommodate growth begin in Denison

DENISON, TX -- A project to accommodate growth is going on in the city of Denison.

Crews are installing a new gas line near the new high school for increased capacity.

The Development Alliance says they've had to build two new 8-inch gas lines because of the growth in north Denison.

Tony Kaai says the new gas lines will help fuel the school along with Ruiz Foods, the largest gas consumer in the area.

The alliance will meet tonight to approve a loan of nearly $800,000 dollars that would help pay for the gas line.

This line will also fuel any future business in that area.
