MURRAY COUNTY, OK -- The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a man is in the hospital with a gunshot wound after leading officers on a high-speed chase in Garvin and Murray County Thursday night.
Troopers say they assisted Wynnewood Police in the pursuit that started on U.S. 77 after 9 o'clock. Authorities say when they boxed the suspect in at Highway 7 and I-35 in Murray County the suspect rammed into four law enforcement vehicles. That is when OHP says their responding trooper fired, hitting the suspect one time.
The suspect has been taken to an Oklahoma City hospital.
He is said to be in "good condition".
