Pushmataha Co. man charged with murder
PUSHMATAHA COUNTY, OK - Authorities say they've arrested a man accused of killing a Pushmataha County man in his home a few months ago.

PUSHMATAHA COUNTY, OK - Authorities say they've arrested a man accused of killing a Pushmataha County man in his home a few months ago.
49 year old Robert Parsons is in the Pushmataha County Jail charged with first degree murder.
The body of 77 year old Garland Cogburn was found in his home in Antlers last November. Online Court Records say Parsons has confessed to striking Cogburn in the head with a hatchet. Parsons also told investigators he wrote himself a check from Cogburn's checking account and stole his vehicle.
A preliminary hearing has been set for February 29th.
