ARDMORE, OK - Monday marks the grand opening for the new Chickasaw Nation Ardmore Health Clinic.

Chickasaw Nation Governor Bill Anoatubby hosted the ribbon cutting ceremony 9:30 Monday morning at 2510 Chickasaw Blvd. in Ardmore.

The 66,000 square foot building is more than six times the size of the original clinic that opened in 1988.

"Today, we are much further ahead in our mission of overall health care of our community," Governor Anoatubby said. "This is a major milestone for the Chickasaw Nation's people and the folks we serve."

Anoatubby said the bigger building will allow for a drive-through pharmacy and a new physical therapy program.
