POTTSBORO, TX-Just a day before the grand opening of a Pottsboro grocery store, officials remind you to be mindful of roadwork on State Highway 289.

TxDOT's Tray Turner said paving will continue as scheduled north of Brookshire's Wednesday. They'll close down one lane of 289, starting from Spur 316 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Pottsboro City Manager Kevin Farley said they're expecting hundreds of people to attend Brookshire's grand opening, that's why they opened the new city street north of the store to help ease traffic.

Turner said TxDOT will start repaving in front of Brookshire's mid-next week.
