KINGSTON, OKLAHOMA -- The Save Lake Texoma campaign is receiving attention from Senator Tom Coburn's office.
Robyn King, the Kingston woman behind the Facebook page, says she and representatives from the Lake Texoma Association and the Arbuckle Aquifer are meeting with Coburn's office Monday.
The group is pushing to stop the draining of Lake Texoma in order to keep the lake from drying up.
King says Lake Texoma shouldn't be used for hydropower or drinking when water levels are this low -- at 609 feet.
