Scam artist targets Texoma Meals on Wheels recipient
DENISON, TX - Meals on Wheels of Texoma wants to warn its recipients tonight after one of its Denison clients was the target of a phone scam.

DENISON, TX - Meals on Wheels of Texoma wants to warn its recipients tonight after one of its Denison clients was the target of a phone scam.
An employee tells us the woman received a call this morning from someone claiming to be from Meals on Wheels. The caller asked the senior for personal information and whether or not the woman was receiving supplemental income.
That's when the woman hung up and contacted Meals on Wheels of Texoma, who say they will never ask for any personal, financial, or medical information.
The call was reported to Denison Police, who say if you receive a call like this to contact them immediately.
