Sherman Capital Improvement Project approved

SHERMAN, TX -- The Capital Improvement Program got a thumbs up from Sherman's City Council, Tuesday.

The $43 Million project will begin this year and last until 2017. The money will fund repairs to municipal buildings and improvements to the northeast and southwest fire stations.

It will also pay for construction of a water line along State Highway 289.

The water line project is expected to be finished by the end of this year.
