SHERMAN, TX -- Many veterans were in attendance and some were honored at Friday's annual Sherman Christmas Parade.
The theme was "Hollywood Christmas" and the parade kicked off with the Sherman Fire Honor Guard, the Mayor, the Sherman High School band and cheerleaders. Churches and area businesses all entered floats, even classic cars.
Rita Kotay and Scott McLinden were proud to take part, and Maureen Kane served as one of the emcees.
Faith Church's Youth Group took the Grand prize. Virginia Cook Realtors won first prize, and a texoma favorite -- The Cannonball Cloggers -- came in second.
