Sherman Police investigate suspicious death

SHERMAN, TX -- Authorities are investigating a suspicious death in Sherman.

Sherman Police say they found a woman dead at a home in the 500 block of South Willow St. around 6 Monday night. They say they are still investigating the cause of death. No word on any suspects or any other injures.

The Texas Rangers, the Criminal Investigation Division and the Sherman Fire Department are all assisting Sherman Police.

Sgt. D.M. Hampton says South Willow St. will be closed for some time from Monday night to early Tuesday morning.

Police say details are slim right now.
