Sherman car burglar caught

SHERMAN, TX -- A teenager is now behind bars for a dozen car burglaries.

Sherman Police say early Wednesday morning, in the 1500 block of Creekside Drive, someone saw a woman breaking into a vehicle.

Officers say they caught 17-year-old Taylor Satterfield as she was trying to break into another one.

She was charged with 1 count burglary of a home and 12 counts of burglary to a vehicle. Police say she'll be charged as an adult.

Investigators say all the vehicles that were burglarized were unlocked.
