SHERMAN, TX -- Authorities say a Sherman City Council member was arrested on a DWI charge Friday.
The Grayson County Sheriff's Office confirms councilman, Joe Smith, was booked into the county jail.
This is a prior mug shot of him.
Online records show he's been charged with Driving While Intoxicated, and driving with an invalid license.
Lieutenant Rickey Wheeler, with the Sheriff's office, says Smith was also arrested last year on a DWI charge. Smith is out on a $1,500 bond.
We have reached out to Smith for comment, but our phone call has not been returned at this time.
