Sherman man arrested on forgery charges

SHERMAN, TX -- A man accused of passing counterfeit money in Sherman has been arrested.

This all stems from a call officers received from a clerk of a convenience store on the 500 block of South Walnut, in reference to someone attempting to pass counterfeit money.

Cody Brady was taken into custody at a home in the 1000 block of South Vaden.

During a search officers found evidence of counterfeiting.

Brady was arrested for Forgery which is a 3rd degree felony.

If convicted he could face 2 to 10 years in prison.
