Sherman police investigating after dog stolen in Sherman hotel robbery

SHERMAN, TX -- Police say they are investigating a bizarre crime where three people entered a Sherman hotel room, assaulted its occupants and stole a dog.

According to Sherman Police, three people entered the victim's room at the Executive Inn around 10 p.m. Thursday night.

A female suspect allegedly took a dog that was in the room.

A 2nd male suspect choked one of the rooms occupants until he lost concussions, while the third suspect held a second victim down by the throat.

Police have filed a burglary report.

No word on what happened to the dog.
