Sherman releases 2013 drinking water quality reports

SHERMAN, TX -- Results from the drinking water quality report for the city of Sherman have been released for 2013.

The consumer confidence report shows Sherman's drinking water meets or exceeds all federal requirements set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

The city has two water sources: ground water and surface, or lake water.

The city's water treatment plant is set up for conventional water treatment. A process that consists of pre-oxidation, rapid mixing, sedimentation, and filtration.
