Stringtown inmate escapee back behind bars

STRINGTOWN, OK -- A Stringtown inmate that has been on the run is back behind bars.

Officers at the Mac Alford Correctional Center say they arrested 43-year-old Jeffrey Craft at Noel's Convenient Store in Stringtown around 2:45 this afternoon.

Authorities realized Craft was missing during a routine count around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

He is currently serving a 20 year sentence out of Oklahoma County for Burglary. Officers say felony escape charges will be filed against Craft Monday.
