BONHAM,TX -- Dozens of balloons soared above Bonham High School to remember 17-year-old senior, Jesse Runyon Tuesday morning.

Runyon died early Saturday morning in a one-vehicle crash off State Highway 78. Students say they also wore "camo" because that was Runyon's favorite attire. Organizers say the event brought students together to cope and to begin to "let go".

"Not necessarily let go of him, but let go of the feeling of, you know he's gone. Just kind of take this as our challenge to always have them there with us, but its just something emotionally like as a class we can do together," Jenna Toland said.

Friends also remembered 18-year-old Thomas Calame who was also in the crash and died from his injuries on Sunday night.
Calame graduated from Bonham high school last year.
