Suspect in Jan. Paris hardware store robbery indicted

LAMAR COUNTY, TX-- A Paris man has been indicted for robbing a local hardware store at gunpoint earlier this year.

The District Clerk's Office says, 23 year old Zachary Simmons has been indicted on one count of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

In January, Paris Police say Simmons entered Swaim's Hardware, in the 200 block of SW 1st Street, pulled out a gun and ordered the employee to the ground. He got away with two guns.

His next court appearance is set for next month.
