TAB discusses hot topic issues

SHERMAN, TX -- Sherman and Denison Chambers of Commerce tackled some hot topic issues Friday.

At the top of the list, education and funding for roads and water.

At Friday's bi-annual Texas Association of Business luncheon, members of both chambers focused on the roll of business in state politics.

The President of Texas Association of Business came from Austin to address the crowd about what education and other funding concerns mean to them.

"We think its critically important the business community engage on these issues. Let their elected officials know how they feel about them. That its important. There are tough decisions that are going to have to be made," said Bill Hammond, President of Texas Association of Business.

The TAB works with Chambers of Commerce to improve each city's business climate.
