DUNCAN, Okla. (AP) - Teammates of an Australian baseball player killed in Oklahoma will play an exhibition game in his memory later this month.
Twenty-two-year-old Chris Lane was shot and killed as he was jogging down a street in Duncan in August. Three teenagers have been charged in connection with the Melbourne native's death.
Lane attended Redlands Community College in El Reno before transferring to East Central University in Ada. He was preparing for his senior season at East Central when he was killed.
On Oct. 15, players from both colleges' baseball teams will play an exhibition game at the Duncan High School baseball field in honor of Lane. The game is scheduled for 5 p.m.
