A combination of very strong winds, falling temperatures and frozen precipitation will make Wednesday and Wednesday night dangerous for motorists. Freezing rain and sleet will change to snow before ending late Wednesday or early Thursday. Wind chills of 5 to 10 degrees...with air temperatures in the low 20s...can be expected. Roads will be icy Thursday morning but should melt during the day as skies clear and temperatures rise above freezing.
ATOKA COUNTY, OK -- An Atoka teen is injured after a motorcycle accident Sunday.
OHP says 15-year-old, Dillion Clark, lost control of the bike while trying to avoid a cow in the roadway.
It happened around 2:30 Sunday afternoon on Park Lane, south of Atoka. Authorities say Dillion was flown to a Dallas hospital in stable condition.
They say his passenger was not injured. Troopers say neither were wearing a helmet.
