PARIS, TX-- Police say a texting driver caused a two vehicle accident in Paris over the weekend, sending six people to the hospital.
Paris Police say just before 4:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon, 21-year-old Joanna Deal ran a stop sign in the 700 block of SW 3rd Street.
Her vehicle was struck by a car, carrying four people, who then lost control and crashed into a home. Deal was ejected from her vehicle and taken by air ambulance to Plano Medical Center.
Two people were taken by ambulance to PRMC. The other three were taken there by car.
All have been treated and released.
