DENISON, TX -- 2.5 million women in the U.S. have survived breast cancer -- thanks to increased awareness, and to keep that awareness going Texoma Medical Center and the Texoma Health Foundation put on "Think Pink" at TMC Tuesday night.

A silent auction and reception were just some of the fun events. Dozens of attendees wore pink and made donations that will support "500 Strong" a group that helps local women fight breast cancer.

Susan Hooper is a breast cancer survivor and says she would not be here if it were not for the organization.

"If the funds had not been there for me that they had raised before I came along I wouldn't be here today. So I'm very passionate about this cause because without it I would have not survived," Hooper said.
