DALLAS (AP) - Thousands of North Texas homes and businesses have lost electricity as thunderstorms rolled through the area and delayed some travel.
Oncor by late Monday morning reported nearly 13,000 customers without power, mainly in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, as utility crews worked to restore service.
The aviation tracking website FlightAware.com reports some weather-related delays Monday at Dallas Love Field and Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.
The National Weather Service says the chances for rain should ease by Monday night across North Texas. Highs are expected to reach the 80s.
