SHERMAN, TX -- Three people were taken to TMC after a three-car crash on Highway 75 Wednesday evening.

Sherman police say it happened just after 5 p.m. on Highway 75 northbound, just south of Fallon Drive.

They say an SUV slammed into the back of a car, pushing that car into a pickup.

The victims' injuries were not life-threatening.

"It's northbound 75 at 5:00, so there was quite a bit of traffic there, and there is some construction going on in the area, and that may have also played a factor. But, those are some things our accident investigation team will be looking into and consider," Lt. Stephen Dean said.

Northbound lanes were shut down for more than an hour.
